Try a fire meditation. This meditation is very similar to any other traditional meditation. The only difference is that you will sit in front of a lit candle. To make this meditation even more powerful, you might sit in the middle of a circle of lighted candles.

  • Light up your favorite candle.
  • Sit down with your back straight.
  • Take a few deep breaths and relax.
  • Look at the candle. Rest your gaze on the flame and let it become your only focus.
  • As you go deeper into this meditation, slowly shift your focus to your solar plexus chakra and picture a ball of shinning yellow light inside this area.
  • As the ball starts to expand and get warmer, notice how it is dissolving all blockages of energy within you.

                1. Add solar plexus chakra food to your diet

                A healthy and balanced diet is important for the well-being of all your chakras, what you eat really affects them. So one of the easiest ways to balance your solar plexus chakra is to tweak your diet to support that process.

                • Start with yellow foods like: pineapple, corn, yellow peppers, lemons, apricots or bananas.
                • Add the following products to support your digestive system (which is ruled by the solar plexus chakra): oats, spelt, brown rice, rye bread, beans.
                • Spice up your diet (this chakra is ruled by the element of fire, after all!): don’t be shy with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, or cumin.
