The Sanskrit name for the bow pose is Dhanurasana with Dhanu meaning ”bow” and Asana “pose”.

2. Plank pose (Kumbhakasana / Phalakasana)
The Sanskrit name for the plank pose is Kumbhakasana with Kumbhaka meaning ”breath retention” or Phalakasana with Phalaka meaning “plank”.
